This Disposable Room Freshener absorbs musty odors caused by stagnant air which creates Fresher, Healthier Air. It is unscented, non-toxic, septic safe and friendly to the environment.

The Solution to Fresher, Healthier Air!
Thanks to the white pellets DampRid brings humidity (excess moisture) to an ideal and safe level. The white pellets will not dry the air out to a level where damage can transpire to your plants, animals, and fabrics. Once the optimal level is reached, 40-50% relative humidity, DampRid slows down, and will restart when necessary.

How the DampRid Disposable Room Freshener Works?
Once the white pellets are exposed to the air, the pellets absorb excess moisture and liquefy into a brine (salt solution), which drips into the bottom of the Disposable Room Freshener Tray. What to expect:

Week 1*
Excess moisture is absorbed into the white pellets. The white pellets will begin to harden and form a solid mass. You may not see liquid dripping into the bottom of the tray at this stage.

Weeks 2, 3 & 4*
Excess moisture will most likely be dripping in the bottom of the tray. The bottom of the tray will be about ½ full of liquid. Approximately ½ of the white pellets will be gone.

Weeks 5, 6 & 7*
During these weeks all of the white pellets will liquefy and the bottom of the tray will be full of liquid. At this time discard the entire Disposable Room Freshener and replace with a new one.

* Due to changes in temperature and humidity the timeline listed above should only be used has a guideline. The product may last a shorter or longer period of time due to these changes.

Commonly asked Questions?
Do I need to empty the collected liquid before the white pellets have dissolved? No, the collected liquid will not evaporate into the air. The collected liquid will actually continue to absorb a small amount of moisture from the air.

Do I break-up or chip the white pellets after they become one solid mass? No, this is a normal process for the white pellets to absorb excess moisture.

Why are the white pellets discolored? The white pellets may become discolored due to some impurities in the manufacturing process of the white pellets. Also, as they absorb excess moisture they are also pulling any dust particles in the excess moisture into the Refillable Room Freshener.

Should I add more DampRid white pellets to the top of the container before they are all dissolved? No, please allow all off the white pellets to dissolve before you add more DampRid white pellets. You may alter the absorption process or damage the plastic container if you continue to add new DampRid white pellets on the top of the current white pellets.

What do I do if I accidentally spill some of the collected liquid? It is recommended to use a Wet/Dry Vacuum or Towel to remove as much of the liquid as you can. Continue to pour regular tap water onto the spill to dilute the concentration of the liquid. If you do not dilute or clean the spot, the spilled liquid will continue to absorb excess moisture and the spot may get larger.

Ice Blaster Premium Ice/Snow Melter (SAFG95)

Ice Blaster Premium Ice/Snow Melter effectively melts ice/snow down to –25 degrees F. Ice Blaster melts four times as much ice/snow than rock salt. Ice Blaster’s premium formula begins to melt ice/snow on contact. It is safer on vegetation and will not leave white residue. Convenient 3 lb.size is easy to carry and pour.

How the Ice Blaster Works?
Deicers are incapable of melting snow or ice in their solid form. They must form liquid brine. This brine lowers the freezing point of water and effectively dissolves (melts) ice and snow on contact until it becomes diluted to a concentration where its freezing point is raised near water’s.

Why Ice Blaster is different?
Speed of action depends on how fast an ice melter becomes brine. Due to its premium round pellet Ice Blaster simply creates brine faster than non-calcium chloride ice melters. Calcium Chloride actually generates heat (exothermic reaction) as it dissolves. Most other ice melters draw heat away from their surroundings as they melt. This is an endothermic reaction. When temperatures drop much below freezing the rate of pick up slows and makes it difficult to create brine. No brine means-no melting action.

Directions for Use:

Spread ICE BLASTER lightly and evenly over ice.

Sprinkle ¼ to ½ cup (2 to 4 ounces) per square yard. DO NOT OVER APPLY.

If snow is more than 2 inches deep, shovel or plow it first, then apply ICE BLASTER to melt the remaining ice/snow.

As the ice and snow melt remove the slush and water immediately to prevent re-freezing.

USE BEFORE THE STORM to make shoveling easier and to prevent the format.

Warning-Please Read:

DO NOT USE ON concrete less than 1 years old, pre-cast steps, masonry (stone or brick), or existing concrete that is pre-stressed, chipped or cracked. If used on these surfaces it must be done at user’s own risk.

To minimize potential damage, use this and any other deicing product on only "quality concrete" that is air entrained, mixed, placed and cured according to recommendations of the American Concrete Institute Committee 201. Sealing surfaces and removing slush that results from the melting process can also decrease the potential to for damage to concrete surfaces.

STORAGE:

Store ICE BLASTER in a cool dry place.
DO NOT store ICE BLASTER in the attic, upper floors of buildings or in areas where leaking of contents could cause damage.
Close and tightly seal carton.

Commonly asked Questions?
Will ICE BLASTER harm my concrete? There's a common misconception that deicers chemically attack concrete. They don’t. The threat to concrete is the pressure created when water in concrete freezes. It’s true that all common deicers can hurt this situation because they affect the freezing point of water. Depending on the weather and the freeze point of brine, the number of freeze/thaw cycles can be increased.

Will ICE BLASTER harm my grass (vegetation)? All deicers, even those used as fertilizers have potential to harm vegetation. Although research has proven that calcium chloride poses less of a threat than other deicers, even when applied at the same rate.

Will it leave a white residue on my carpets? No, calcium chloride will not leave powdery residue unlike other types of deicers.

Can I use ICE BLASTER on my roof? Although ICE BLASTER will not harm an asphalt roof, the brine SHOULD NOT come in contact with metal. Therefore, make sure you have vinyl gutters or you wash out the metal gutters with regular water after using ICE BLASTER on your roof.
